Tour de Spokes philosophy:

More then 30 years of bicycle travel experience will bring this philosophy to our guests. The owners from Tour de Spokes, Jane and Wilhelm, are a perfect team and are responsible for the philosophy and quality of the bicycle tours.

Our American component is Jane who has a great enthusiasm for life and brings to this company more than 40 years of business experience. She owned her own successful company, but when she retired she turned to the passion of the bike. Jane is a driving force to provide each customer with the trip of a lifetime. She works closely with her German partner Wilhelm who is the organizer for Tour de Spokes in Europe.
He designs and implements all the individual tours for Tour de Spokes. His 30 years of bicycle travel experience is invaluable to the company. His in-depth experience and painstaking attention to every detail assures that the high quality of the tours are maintained. He skillfully negotiates with all the pensions, restaurants and other service providers.

Last, but not least, with our 2 car drivers Michael and Ernst, and with our passion of cycling and love of culture Tour de Spokes provides a perfect team to make your bike vacation a highlight in your life that will you never forget.

Our van driver Michael is responsible not only for your luggage but is a constant companion on our group tours. Drinks, snacks, fruits, lunch, whatever a bicycle rider needs for energy along the way, Michael will have it in his van. If you are tired and want to rest for a little time, Michael will bring you to the next meeting point or take you directly to your next hotel. In the evening he will often wait along the bicycle way with an "extra gift" for the riders.

Tour de Spokes has several classical trips. The Rhine River tour from Heidelberg or Mainz to Cologne where one can experience the beautiful countryside and where Mother Nature presents the onlooker with scenes from a 2,000 year old history ... not to mention the castles and cathedrals on its banks and also the ancient cities that still bear witness to a great and glorious history.
The Danube river bike tour from Passau to Vienna is on a completely developed bike path and on this trip the beauty of the river and the history of the ages come to life each day. This bike trip can be combined with the Rhine River tour from Mainz to Cologne.
The wine-soaked banks of the Mosel river bike tour begins in Trier, Germany's oldest city, and where the Romans lived more than 2000 years ago. With the many quaint villages, hilltop castles, and steep vineyards all lined up one after another, you can easily feel that you are a part of this historic valley.
