Heidelberg and Romantic middle Rhine Valley
Heidelberg - Mainz - Boppard - Koblenz - Bonn - Cologne
8 Days
The
name Heidelberg stands for the world-famous Castle and a picturesque old town in
breathtakingly beautiful surroundings. It stands for Germany's oldest university
,modern research facilities, for historic streets and a lively university
atmosphere and last but not least for total relaxation and beautiful walks. It
is also known for the longest and one of the most attractive pedestrian zones in
Europe.
The
question is often asked why is the Rhine so beautiful? Over the centuries the
poets and artists have written about the Rhine river, the beautiful scenery and
the fact that the river is basically untouched from the time that the Romans
populated this valley 2000 years ago. Your bike tour ends in the beautiful
historic city of Cologne Germany.
